wish list

Birthday/Holiday Wishlist, 2009 Edition.

by Jamie Sanford on December 7, 2009

I love doing wishlists. I know I will not be getting most of these things, but it is fun to dream.

Silver Efex Pro from Nik Software

Been after this for a while since some of the photographers whose blogs I read use it and it creates some stunning B&W conversions.

Totally Rad Actions – TRA 2: The Revenge

I recently purchased the TRA 1 set, and now I can’t wait to get the second one. Huge set of fantastic and interesting actions for your photos.  I also love that there’s a whole community of people creating their own recipes, I can’t wait to explore it further.

Western Digital My Book World Edition 4 TB (2 x 2 TB) Network Attached Storage WDH2NC40000N (White)

We currently have 2 external hard drives at home, one is an old one that is 160GB and the other is 500GB.  They are both maxing out on space.  We took 80GB of photos in 2008 and I’m sure the 2009 number will go up, so I keep needing to locate bigger sources of storage.

14K White Gold Tanzanite and Diamond Ring

I am a girl and I’ll put a ring that costs over $13k on my wishlist if I want to.  Seriously though, I love gemstones, and the color of this particular tanzanite is STUNNING.  This ring would look totally fine on my right hand.

This will likely be a multi-part post, this is fun!

Holiday Wish List.

by Jamie Sanford on November 25, 2008

The holiday season includes my upcoming birthday as well. Here’s my annual extravagant wish list of items I will NOT be receiving.

Mac Pro, because why should I settle for anything less?  This machine would make editing my photos a religious experience.

While not crazy expensive, I don’t generally get cell phones until I need them, and mine is less than a year old.  It does become SORT of extravagant when I think about the increase in my service bill though.  Blackberry Storm!

Sony Carl Zeiss® Planar® T* 85mm f/1.4 Telephoto Lens.  It’s only $1,200.  HAHA!  Seriously though, I can’t even imagine the damage I could do with this lens.  I already love my 50mm f/1.4 so much and this would just be better.

That’s all for now.
