This Britney Spears video that is super fabulous.

This video gives you a plan to drive free cars. It delves into the topic of lots of people having car payments ALL THE TIME, and how if you invest a $475 car payment every month for 30 years (into a mutual fund), you could end up a millionaire. The interest on said mutual fund will help you buy cars in the $15k-$18k range for the rest of your life. It’s pretty interesting.

Did I share this before? I don’t remember. Either way, watch this video on walking for a half hour and seeing how it changes your possibilities for health outcomes.

Joan Rivers + RuPaul = amazing.

Juice Reboot + Drag Queens = LIFE.

Unrelated, since I need to get in on said Juice Reboot, another video about making macarons.

This is super interesting, a basic presentation of data on how walking for 30 minutes a day can significantly change your health and chances for a longer life.

Here’s an image from the Irish Thanksgiving we went to a few weeks back. That’s Tiffany holding Seamus O’Camel, and her husband John attempting to pin the shamrock on the camel. Will is photobombing in the back. Mostly I just think that Tiffany’s expression is PERFECT. I love it.

Irregular Choice Shoe Party

by Jamie Sanford on September 5, 2011

I was introduced to Irregular Choice earlier this year when Gala Darling posted about their shoes after a trip to ENKWSA, a footwear trade show!  This is another brand that is serving a lot of fun color and texture, and none of the shoes in this post cost more than $200.  Let’s check out some standouts that I found on the IC website.

These are a whole season (summer, naturally) in a single shoe.  Ain’t What by Irregular Choice, $145.

I’ll tell you why I love these so much.  They DEFINE how I feel about black items being more than just black.  Look at the heel!  It’s a kitten heel, but the most interesting kitten heel you have ever seen. Drive in Movie by Irregular Choice, $155.

The Anglophile in me loves anything with a Union Jack.  These shoes fit the bill.  Patty by Irregular Choice, $120.

HOLY CRAP look at these.  I wear pants a lot, and I would find a skirt to wear with some dark tights if these shoes were in my life.  Not so much shoes for the office, but that are perfect for a fabulous night out.  Mayhem by Irregular Choice, $195.

Check out the entire Irregular Choice line here.  Which shoes are your pick?

Christian Louboutin Shoes for the Ages

by Jamie Sanford on February 11, 2011

Christian Louboutin shoes are really expensive. I am not rich. Therefore, it is unlikely that I will own many/any Christian Louboutin shoes.

But they’re so fabulous!

I nearly bought Christian Louboutin kitten heels for my wedding.  I couldn’t wear big heels because I didn’t want to tower over my husband who is only slightly taller than me, and they were black so I knew I’d wear them again.  I ended up not getting them because spending another $700 on something whilst in the crazy spending that comes with a wedding was not a good idea.

However, I’ve always thought that if I was going to spend this much money on shoes that I should pick something that I know I could use a lot, that would be fabulous but also would work in multiple areas of my life.  Work, play, etc.

So these are my new obsession.  These are the Christian Louboutin Metallic Watersnake Pumps.  The shape of the shoe is very classic, but the snakeskin texture makes it interesting.  The heel is only 3.25 inches, which is high enough to give you the benefits of the heel without being a 5-inch heel that will likely cause my death.

Unfortunately they are also $995.

I could buy the similar shoe in black, available for $595, and I know that these shoes are crafted not just made, so they aren’t just black pumps, but I’m not here for that. I want special shoes.

Can you even imagine this movie without those shoes?  Dorothy had special shoes and I want some too.
