USB Owl

by Jamie Sanford on September 24, 2010

All week and I haven’t linked to the entire collection of owl items on The Daily Wishlist? Click here for a full listing of posts.

The last item for Owl Week is this cute little companion to perch on the computer.

Very cute, right? The owl plugs in to your USB port and the owl moves a bit and keeps you company.

Not for everyone, I know.  Kids would probably love it, I would love it too, but I’m definitely a kid at heart so no surprise there.

The USB Robot Owl from ThinkGeek is available for $19.99.

USB Desktop Digital Photo Frame

by Jamie Sanford on September 1, 2010

Today’s item is a cute digital frame to plug into your computer!

A very cute, 3.5-inch digital frame that can subtly feature some favorite photos.

The Portable 3.5″ USB Digital Photo Frame is a versatile inexpensive frame that wants to be your friend. It’s powered by a built in rechargeable battery, but is perfectly happy to sit and sip power from the USB port on your laptop. It has a headphone jack and can play MP3 files in a pinch… and supports standard SD cards. The bright hi-res screen has good contrast with a nice viewing angle. Since it’s light and needs no cords the Portable 3.5″ USB Digital Photo Frame is perfect for sticking up on memo boards or refrigerators (double sided foam tape not included). It just wants to show you your photos and make you happy.

Love that it plays songs too! The mini digital frame is available for $39.99 from ThinkGeek.

I am a firm believer in personalization of your work space, if such is acceptable in your workplace.

I am excited to post this item, the USB-powered lights to brighten up your space.

These are on sale from the Conran Shop for only $3.50 (originally $14).

USB Flash Drive as Key

by Jamie Sanford on February 12, 2010

Many of us have multiple USB Flash Drives sitting around, but if you are like me, you tend to misplace them due to their small size.  This is why I am excited about the USB Flash Drive key!

The USB Key is available in a variety of storage sizes and prices. 4gB ($21), 8GB ($31.84), 16GB ($52.98), or 32GB ($102.99). As you can see below, it easily fits in with the rest of your keys.

This is a great gift for anyone who uses a computer, which is almost everyone. A great early bird shopping item or stocking stuffer.
