Instagram Roundup #55

Here are all of the other Instagram Roundups!

My apologies for the lack of posting since last week’s roundup. I was sick, and then sort of stayed away from my computer over the long weekend.

A different view of our floor in the storage unit building.

Found out while watching Who Do You Think You Are? that Cindy Crawford‘s 10th great grandfather hung out with MY 8th great grandfather when they came to the US from England. She was presented with this book during the show, and Will obtained it for me so that I could review it. This book smells old and awesome, and the pages feel brittle. I have only skimmed so far, but there’s a lot of interesting information about the people who started this colony in CT in the 1600s.

Mostly was in hiding over the holiday weekend, but did get online to watch Nine Inch Nails at the Made in America festival. This is my 5th show live-streamed this summer, and it’s been a treat.

Will went through a ton of stuff in his desk/office area over the weekend. He found a number of hard drives that had to be altered before being recycled. I would not want anyone pulling my old hard drive out of the discarded pile, plugging it in and trying to find out my SSN and my blood type. No thanks.

This is Boomer, my aunt’s pug. He has a lot more grey hair in his face now that he is getting older.

After reading about it for ages, I bought bee pollen at the NJ state fair, and have been on 2 tbsp a day ever since. I should have done proper science on this but instead, I’m just eating it every day and hoping it is helping my situation.

Instagram Roundup #49

by Jamie Sanford on July 17, 2013

Here are all of the other Instagram Roundups!

Catching up with a few weeks of Instagrams, since we got back from the South Dakota roadtrip.

Curls are my summer hair jam.

I was back in the showroom right after getting back from SD.

I had dinner with Jess, one of my high school BFFs, that same week. We hadn’t seen each other in years, but naturally, it felt like we had seen each other 10 minutes ago.

More trials with matte nail polish, and I put a bunch of dots on the ring finger. Too bad my Seche Vite betrayed me with all of those little air bubbles.

This dude did pushups in line at Whole Foods. SMH.

I really hope this isn’t always the case.

I drive past Satin Dolls on my way home from work. It is also known as The Bada Bing, since this is where they filmed that location for The Sopranos. Fitting that they paid tribute to James Gandolfini.

Sassy mannequin at the Calvin Klein outlet.

One day, I want the number of my home to look like this on the door.

People keep interesting things in storage units. The scenes in the drive-in area are always something to behold.

How beautiful is that glove?

Tried this out, it’s waaay too strong for me.

I couldn’t resist some new A England polishes.

My absolute obsession with Elementary continues, but since it’s 2 more months until the season starts, I went back to the well and started reading the source material.

Getting ready for a big round of photography at the office. I am building a fort of dinnerware.

Sharknado was everything I wanted it to be.

I did a big review of magazines I was hoarding for one reason or another. I pulled out certain pages to be scanned for later reference, but I also take pictures. I loved this rainbow Ferragamo.

We were out the other night, and were driving to go find dinner, and I saw a sign for this high school production of The Crucible on the road. I immediately convinced Will that we needed to go, and so we did. Having participated in a spring 1997 production of The Crucible myself, it was really that much more fun.

Instagram Roundup #9

Here are all of the other Instagram Roundups!

This is a picture of my laptop screen. I was watching Cosmos with Carl Sagan and could not stop enjoying his AMAZING fashion.

We decided not to move this year so naturally a bigger storage unit was in order, to free up space in our current apartment for easier living. I want to have a photo shoot in our storage facility so badly, because it is really gorgeous. The wood floors, the amazing light (during the day – not the unfortunate fluorescents), I love it.

Working for Noritake means occasionally doing some photography on the fly.

…and sometimes that photography requires creative lighting fixes. Since we have fluorescent lights in the office, I taped one end of a section of bubble wrap to a computer monitor, and attached the other end to my head to diffuse the harsh reflection of the big square light panel overhead. I put the bubble wrap over my hair and put my sunglasses on top. It worked like a charm.

I went to Vans to buy sneakers, and obviously ended up with these Hello Kitty versions.

We have been in and out of said storage unit quite a bit lately. Here we are in the elevator over the weekend.
