Sights and Sounds #28

I haven’t done one of these in a while!

“Zoo Station” is one of my favorite U2 songs, so for Nine Inch Nails to do a cover is pretty much my dream.  I need a new NIN album rightnow.

A little late for Halloween, but this is Gagaween.  Brilliant video by The Hillywood Show.

That wraps up Sights & Sounds #28, I’ll have to remember to write these more often.

Sights and Sounds #27

It’s been a while since a Sights & Sounds post, so it will be a long one.

I enjoy these movies with a huge cast and a bunch of little vignettes.  Here is the trailer for New Year’s Eve.

Love this collection of 60 Awesome Portraits of Gay Couples Just Married in New York State on Buzzfeed.

This is Jaws, the Peanuts edition! Shared on TheSIRmon.com last week.

Jennifer Lopez is still hot. Surprise surprise.  Seriously though, I enjoy her a lot. If you haven’t seen her Behind the Music, you should watch it.  She was very honest and frank, and it was great.  Here is more about Jennifer Lopez in Vanity Fair via Idolator.

I also greatly enjoy Anne Hathaway.  There are some great photos of her in Marie Claire, available here.

Gala Darling shared this fabulous video of Johnny and June Cash, and she just got married in what looks to be a gorgeous ceremony on a beautiful day. I can’t wait to see more photos but there are some great ones here.

OK, that closes out Sights & Sounds #27. Have a great day everyone!

Sights & Sounds #5

by Jamie Sanford on March 11, 2011

I have lots for this Sights and Sounds post because it’s been a while since I wrote one!

First up – Adele sings “Natural Woman” and kills it.  I love her.

Next up – Britney has a new song that I really like, called “Till The World Ends.” Her new album, Femme Fatale, seems to be written to appeal to the gays and fag hags – a group of which I am a member so I’m very excited.  She’s on the cover of the new issue or Out magazine, here’s a link to the interview and more hot photos.

Look at those shoes!  (I’m sure the shoes are not the first think you looked at.)

Here’s your weekly dose of Lady Gaga.  She brought 10-year-old Maria Agaron onstage in Toronto to perform “Born This Way” with her, and it was spectacular.

Another video, here’s Ethan, my favorite laughing baby ever. I’ll definitely have to remember to tear some paper in front of a baby at some point.

I have had pet gerbils and hamsters in my life.  I have an affinity for small rodents.  So this video of a chipmunk in slow motion is one of the best things I’ve seen in a while.

While I don’t like cats as much as little cute rodents (mostly because I’m allergic to them), this slow motion kitten video is also spectacular.

Sights & Sounds #4.

by Jamie Sanford on February 27, 2011

This will be a short edition of Sights & Sounds, it’s Oscar day and I’ll be blogging my face off later tonight.

New Ke$ha video and it’s amazing, because JAMES VAN DER BEEK is in it. I love that he’s realized that he needs to embrace himself as sort of a joke.  He’s still totally cute though.

Here’s your Weekly Gaga, a live take on “Born This Way” – acapella! I enjoy her so much – I know the song is taking a big hit for sounding like “Express Yourself” and I get it, but the video comes out tomorrow so I’m hoping for good things.

Anne Hathaway is hosting the Oscars and is completely beautiful.

Sights & Sounds #3

by Jamie Sanford on February 21, 2011

Sights & Sounds is quickly becoming one of my favorite things to write each week.  I’d love to have some feedback and suggestions, if you come across anything fun to share, please send it along – on Facebook would be great!

Red Carpet Fashion Awards is one of my favorite blogs.  Seriously, if I see an update in Google Reader I’m pretty much checking it right away. If you’re at all interested in celebrities or fashion, I can’t recommend it enough.  Click on the image of Rihanna’s amazing fashion streak to see that specific post. I can’t even vote because I like all of them too much and I can’t pick one.

Lady Gaga posted this video on Facebook, this young girl plays piano and sings a gorgeous rendition of Gaga’s new single “Born This Way.” Made me cry a bit.

Hulu has a fabulous series called Masters of Style.  They have videos featuring Michael Kors, Dolce & Gabbana, Jean-Paul Gautier and Alexander McQueen, embedded above.

Emma Stone and a ShakeWeightI love Emma Stone. I can’t wait for her to be a redhead again. Her expression here is pretty brilliant.

Amber Riley in Essence MagazineMore Amber Riley fierceness from her Essence photo shoot.

Alice in WonderlandI love how Alice is exasperated and then just gets over it. I’m going to have to try this approach to quickly getting over things.
