Brian Atwood #bobsessed Prize Pack!

I was lucky enough to recently win a little contest on Twitter from retweeting a message from Brian about the launch of his new fabulous line, B Brian Atwood. I received my package today and naturally, had to document!

In my prize pack was a Jo Malone candle, a box of truffles from Vosges, and a cute note from the man himself!

Of course, I pulled everything open to check it out – my Wild Fig & Cassis candle smelled great, and look at the truffles!  (For those keeping track, I ate one and my husband ate one—they were super delicious. If you aren’t familiar with Vosges, you should definitely get your hands on their chocolate, they bring in unexpected spices and flavors that somehow work perfectly together.  My husband tried the chocolate truffle with curry and loved it.)

This shot is for anyone who was wondering about the buck head in my site design, you can see my bucks on the wall there – and a blog post about them here.

I have also been checking out the B Brian Atwood shoe collection as there has been a great collaboration going on with some of my favorite style bloggers.  Click here to see all of the shoes and buy them from Saks.  My personal favorites are Liese

Unfortunately, these were not in my prize pack, but come on, how SEXY are these? I might have to just obtain them on my own.  Liese by B Brian Atwood is available for $350.

Thank you so much to Brian Atwood for having a great contest on Twitter, and best of luck with the B Brian Atwood line!

Sephora by OPI GLEE Collection (Product Review)

Sephora by OPI GLEE Collection (Product Review)

A few months ago, I was lucky enough to win the “Sephora Hot Now” sweepstakes on Facebook.  I received a package of 7 full-size products from Sephora, one of which has emerged as the clear favorite – a .5 fluid-ounce bottle of Sephora by OPI from the GLEE collection, in a beautiful blue color called Slushied.  Here’s a post on the PolishAholic with swatches of nearly the entire GLEE collection.

I am no stranger to bright and bold nail colors, so I was excited that this bottle came in my package from Sephora!  I immediately tried it and liked it, but I decided to write about it now because I just decided to use it again and I’m thrilled with the results.

Don’t judge my nail polish application skills, I am no professional.  The decal on my ring finger is from a package I purchased from Walgreens, the brand is Broadway Nails.

The color is totally opaque after 2 coats, and the polish levels itself pretty well, which is good for those of us with less than perfect painting abilities.  The decals were an afterthought, but they are a great way to add something interesting with minimal effort.  I put a little sticker on over the polish and then threw up some Seche Vite top coat and I was good to go.

I think I’ll definitely be trying to pick up a few more of these Glee polishes from Sephora.  The .5 fluid-ounce bottles of the GLEE collection nail polishes from Sephora by OPI are available for $9.50 each from Sephora and

Disclosure: I won the bottle of GLEE collection nail polish in a contest I entered on the Sephora Facebook page.  I bought the decals and the top coat myself.
