Video: Britney Spears, “Criminal”

Video: Britney Spears, “Criminal”

Britney Spears is one of my favorites. I enjoy pop music and what she delivers is consistent, fun and sexy.  This new video for “Criminal” is no different.  Shot in London, it stars Britney and her real-life boyfriend Jason Trawick as a couple who meet and quickly fall in love and become wanted and hunted by British law enforcement.  It is really sexy, and since I can’t seem to embed the video, here are some screenshots.

Pretty Britney’s beauty shot.  Love her eye makeup.

Sexy Jason takes Britney back to his lair, and they get it on.

Britney takes Jason’s gun to the convenience store and decides to commit a crime.

She’s mad and she wants money! NOW!

Cut to sexy Britney in that doorway.

Then we get to the part where Jason and Britney are naked and HOT in the shower.  Damn.

This is what happens when you make a video with your real-life man, and don’t have issues with nudity because you’re both hot.

Still so pretty.  Also, I want my hair to look like that.

The London police find them and shoot up the place while Jason and Britney make out and then escape.

Go watch the “Criminal” video here. This video gets a 9/10.  This is one of my most favorite Britney videos in AGES.

Realness Report: Fashion Week, Kristen Stewart, Gaga

by Jamie Sanford on September 12, 2011

New feature! I have been sucked into the term “realness” from watching too many episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race, RuPaul’s Drag U, etc.

You can see the origin of talking about realness in terms of “passing” in this clip from Paris is Burning.

[youtube 0wFG8WsJQvA]

In this instance, realness I’m talking about is encapsulating a look or attitude from another person, culture, situation, etc.  It’s a broader definition, but it works for me and let’s go with it.

“Just out of the shower with a hangover” realness at the Alexander Wang Spring 2012 show at New York Fashion Week.

Kristen Stewart looks AMAZING in this month’s W Magazine, but as you can see from the picture, she is giving lots of Priscilla Presley realness.  Click here to check out the rest of the photos and an interview with Kristen.

Carnation realness from Lady Gaga.  Come on, look at that hat.  (In all seriousness though, how beautiful does Gaga look here? She looks fabulous with a pale lip and that blond hair, for about a week she looked just beautiful, without distracting from it with her fashion extremes.  I appreciate that part of Gaga too, but I really loved this look.)

Hook it up on Facebook with your suggestions!

Lady Gaga’s “Judas” Video

by Jamie Sanford on May 5, 2011

Lady Gaga’s “Judas” video has arrived and while I have only seen it once, I can tell it is full of the fascinating visuals that generally appear in Lady Gaga’s videos.

“I’ve learned that love is like a brick, you can build a house or sink a dead body.”

Lots of religious imagery, fierce hair and makeup and a manicure that I would probably never attempt.

Check out Lady Gaga’s “Judas” video here.

Concert movies count as movies right?

The Palladia network was showing Pink’s Funhouse Tour Live in Australia and so I watched it.

Here’s the trailer for the DVD:

14. Pink, Funhouse Tour Live in Australia (Not available to stream on Netflix)

I’m assuming that many people who aren’t into pop music would write Pink off as one in a group of female pop stars.  However, you don’t have to go too far beyond that to find out that she is a pretty fantastic singer and songwriter.  This show takes it to a whole new level, as you find out that she’d be just as great as a member of the circus.  Her aerial abilities are demonstrated throughout the show, and amazingly, she sings while she’s doing it all!

Here’s a video of Pink, performing “Sober” while flying around, hanging upside down, etc.  Amazing.  This is from a European stop on her tour.

So I would definitely recommend a viewing of this to anyone who wants to see a really great show.  Pink sings, has personality, dances, has personality and showcases her amazing body.  I liked her a lot before, she seemed to buck the system just enough so that she is still successful but in such a way that she still gets to be herself.

Get to watching this!

The Pink, Funhouse Tour Live in Australia DVD is available from Amazon for $25.98.

Sights & Sounds #3

by Jamie Sanford on February 21, 2011

Sights & Sounds is quickly becoming one of my favorite things to write each week.  I’d love to have some feedback and suggestions, if you come across anything fun to share, please send it along – on Facebook would be great!

Red Carpet Fashion Awards is one of my favorite blogs.  Seriously, if I see an update in Google Reader I’m pretty much checking it right away. If you’re at all interested in celebrities or fashion, I can’t recommend it enough.  Click on the image of Rihanna’s amazing fashion streak to see that specific post. I can’t even vote because I like all of them too much and I can’t pick one.

Lady Gaga posted this video on Facebook, this young girl plays piano and sings a gorgeous rendition of Gaga’s new single “Born This Way.” Made me cry a bit.

Hulu has a fabulous series called Masters of Style.  They have videos featuring Michael Kors, Dolce & Gabbana, Jean-Paul Gautier and Alexander McQueen, embedded above.

Emma Stone and a ShakeWeightI love Emma Stone. I can’t wait for her to be a redhead again. Her expression here is pretty brilliant.

Amber Riley in Essence MagazineMore Amber Riley fierceness from her Essence photo shoot.

Alice in WonderlandI love how Alice is exasperated and then just gets over it. I’m going to have to try this approach to quickly getting over things.
