A few quick images to share from last month’s Cher Blanc ad shoot for Noritake. You can see my other images from the past few photoshoots here. Images taken with the  Sony Alpha 550 and the 50mm f/1.4 Sony Carl Zeiss lens.

Once again, I’m acting as the client (as Marketing Manager for Noritake). Our photographer was James Ransom (the shots in this post are mine, James shot the real ones), and our stylist was Alexis Anthony.

I’ll be at another shoot this week, more images inevitably coming soon.

Of course I have more images to share from the most recent Noritake photoshoot! You can see other images from the past few photoshoots here and here. Images taken with the  Sony Alpha 550 and the 50mm f/1.4 Sony Carl Zeiss lens.

Fresh fruit adds great color to the shots.

This is Pearl Noir.

More props.

More Pearl Noir, with focus on some prop florals. Aren’t they gorgeous?

The 50mm f/1.4 has a ridiculously shallow depth of field. I need to remember to crank that up next time.

More pops of color, and the handy paintbrush for dusting.

My absolute favorite prop that our fantastic stylist Alexis Anthony brought in was star anise. They made everything smell delicious.

Instagram Roundup #59

by Jamie Sanford on October 2, 2013

Here are all of the other Instagram Roundups! Another Noritake photoshoot last week at James Ransom‘s studio. This is Brocato. Insane garlic chicken wings at the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival. We parked outside of a real apothecary in Saugerties, NY, after the festival. I saw the drunk octopus in the bathroom at a rest stop on the way home. Saw this random Shamrock Stage Coach and had to take a picture of that font. This happened to my iPhone after I got startled and dropped it. It landed in the absolute perfect way to smash the corner and those cracks extend all the way to the other end of the phone. I have a genius bar appointment later today.

Instagram Roundup #57

by Jamie Sanford on September 18, 2013

Here are all of the other Instagram Roundups!

On my way through the tunnel on September 11th.

Spent 2 days shooting Noritake’s Colorwave Collection. It was great to get to mix and match the colors and shapes.

Mom and Nan were in town and we went to dinner on their last night here. I parallel parked Mom’s car like a boss on the first try, and naturally, took a photo.

Insane thunderstorms on Thursday. Driving towards the black clouds is never a good sign, but I actually did manage to get inside my house before the sky opened up.

For throwback Thursday, I shared this image I took of my brother during a Skype call. We were working on the crossword together. There’s a salamander on the screen behind him.

Our local Baja Fresh closed without warning! I had to get Panera instead, which is not the thing to fulfill your craving for something from Baja Fresh.

Mom always brings me flowers, and the red carnations are still going strong 4 days later. They are lovely. Thanks Mom!

As mentioned a few weeks back, I love to mix my own habit for photography with my job. Last week, I spent 2 days at James Ransom‘s photography studio, shooting Colorwave by Noritake. I took a number of behind-the -scenes photos for the Noritake blog and Facebook page, but I wanted to share a few here as well. Images taken with the  Sony Alpha 550 and the 50mm f/1.4 Sony Carl Zeiss lens.

See you next time.
