Sights and Sounds again because there is so much going on that I can share!

Miss Britney Spears released her new album Femme Fatale on Tuesday. (More to come on that later.) She taped a performance for Good Morning America the other night in San Francisco and looks super hot. Check out Pink Is The New Blog for a full post with performance videos.

Happy belated birthday to Queen Gaga, who was surprised by her friends with a party at a Mexican restaurant.  Where she proceeded to perform “Born This Way” and other songs with the freakin’ MARIACHI BAND. Amazing.

More Britney – Life has a gallery of her sexiest moments. They are missing her performances of “Breathe on Me” and “Touch of My Hand” from the Onyx Hotel Tour.

No need for Life, I can post a video of the “Breathe on Me” performance here. HOT.

Sorry to have missed the passing of Elizabeth Taylor in the last post. A gorgeous woman and a wonderful champion for great causes. Perhaps she and Michael Jackson are hanging out together now?

Sunday Link Party!

Photo of the week.

Our shadows.

I’m using Roadside America to find some quirky stuff to do while we’re on vacation next week in Florida.

Mashable has great coverage of Vogue.com’s new design.

Some other Jamie Sanford is getting patents on things. I love Google Alerts.

When buying some nostalgic 80s tunes last week, I remembered this collaboration between Eddie Murphy and Michael Jackson. It seems like Eddie Murphy was channeling Prince, and Michael was like “uh, sure I’m down for this.”

In comparison, here’s the video for Prince’s “Seven.” The vocal stylings of the verses seem similar to what Eddie was attempting. (Also, “Seven” is one of my favorite Prince songs.)

RIP Michael Jackson.

by Jamie Sanford on June 26, 2009

I am 29 years old, I’ve been listening to Michael Jackson’s music my entire life.  No matter what drama surrounded him in more recent times, I was always a fan of his music

My favorite song of his is probably “Stranger in Moscow.”

I was hopeful for his comeback with the upcoming dates in London, everyone hopes that people come back from down times, especially public figures that have gone from being so revered to being stomped on.

Rest in peace, MJ.
