Twisted Wrench Sculpture

by Jamie Sanford on August 16, 2010

Last week turned into a theme week with Etsy items. This week? Since I checked out Uncommon Goods and they have a sale on, I’m going with their sale section for the whole week.

This item is discontinued so if you like, pick it up now! Here’s the description:

For a man with a penchant for plumbing and repairs – or an off-kilter sense of humor – this accessory is sure to fit. This twisted wrench by artist John Haley III is a handmade decorative object that can function as a paperweight. Handmade in Colorado.

I like industrial-looking things. So I was drawn to this. Anyway, this is available while supplies last for $11.99 from Uncommon Goods.

White Garden Owlet Necklace

by Jamie Sanford on July 13, 2010

Yes, an owl item. RachelleD was featured on Etsy and I looked at her shop and everything is so cute, but you know I had to go for the owl.

How cute is that? You know you want one. If you like the style, check out RachelleD’s shop for more like this (but without owls).

Pick up this necklace from RachelleD on Etsy for $29.95.

Gnomes Be Gone Lawn Statue

by Jamie Sanford on April 17, 2010

I have a soft spot for garden gnomes, and today’s item is a take on the classic garden decor.

Except they are taking the gnomes away.

Adorable, right? These were created by an artist named Fred Conlon, and they are available on Uncommon Goods for $150.  In addition to this piece, many others are also available.

Beautiful Paper Clip Storage Solution

by Jamie Sanford on February 25, 2010

I am in love.  This small metal bird from the MOMA store is less than 5 inches high, and is magnetic so that you can design feathers with paper clips.

I think this sort of thing is great for the person who has everything. We all have someone who is impossible to shop for, something fun like this is sort of perfect.  If they have everything that they need (and most of the thing they want as well), this is something they might not know that they want.

The Chip Paperclip Holder is $57.
