Here is the trailer for Halloween: H2O.

Halloween: H2O is a full out horror/slasher film, set 20 years after the original Halloween.  Jamie Lee Curtis is back as Laurie Strode, but she has assumed a new identity.  Michael Myers, her brother, is also back, of course.

This is super creepy.  I have less trouble with the Jason Voorhees mask because it’s not resembling a human like this one.  This one just makes my skin crawl.

So, we start the movie and Laurie is doing well as Keri Tate, her new name since she changed it to get away from her past and her brother.  She has a boyfriend and is a successful headmistress of a private school.  She has a cute son played by Josh Hartnett.  His girlfriend is played by Michelle Williams, and they have disposable friends.

These two finally meet up again after 20 years. Happy reunion!

Naturally, more people die and at the end, Jamie Lee gets her bitch on and kills him dead.  She beheads him with a fire ax, and although I don’t think it is very realistic, I’ll take it.  I was quite pleased with this film as another in the Halloween series, and Jamie Lee Curtis is fantastic in it.  Another good one for the Halloween playlist.

Halloween: H2O is available on DVD from Amazon for $9.28.
