get married

Sights and Sounds #14

Sights and Sounds #14 already!

Kate Middleton got married in front of 2 billion people one week, and the next week was riding a grocery cart whilst picking up some groceries.  I LOVE HER!

Lady Gaga performed on a gigantic shoe on the Oprah show.  Naturally.

Zain on Tumblr posted this fantastic image of Kermit and Miss Piggy, a la Annie Hall.

This tiny tortoise is the cutest thing! Of course, I found this on ZooBorns.

P080910PS-0356I have been following the White House Flickr feed since before the election, but I had missed this gallery with a collection of photos from 2010.  I love this one that shows a moment of silliness, because I am definitely a believer that all jobs require a moment of frivolity here and there to stay sane.

Sunday Link Party!

by Jamie Sanford on December 26, 2010

Last one of 2010!

Another photo from that trip I took to the cemetery.  I’ve finally finished editing the whole set, which is available for viewing here.

If I were to get married in Florida, I would love to have it be this fabulous.  They have a circus theme and it isn’t cheesy at all. (Weddings Unveiled Blog)

Christmas present from Nine Inch Nails – edited video from the first of the last few shows that took place in August & September 2009 in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.  I wasn’t able to get tickets to this show at Bowery Ballroom – I was at the next night’s show at Webster Hall and at the last show in NYC a few days after that, but this video is making me way more sad about not having been there.  What a tiny venue.

Teen Vogue teamed up with JCPenney and redecorated the bedrooms of teenagers using new JCPenney bedding. This one is great! (Apartment Therapy)

I’ve been a longtime fan of Kevin Smith, and the teaser for his new movie looks insane.  It’s a horror movie!

Great link on Increasing Personal Satisfaction in Your Adult Friendships.  This is something that I’ve noticed more and more is an issue as we get older. (Feelgooder)

Last one for 2010 – I watched a bit of a Britney Spears marathon (judge all you want) the other day and saw this video.  One of my favorites, and this version, the director’s cut, is way better/sexier.  Her new album comes out in March!

(Yes, I have a Nine Inch Nails video and a Britney Spears video in the same post.  That’s how I roll.)

I hope everyone had a great 2010, and that 2011 is even better.
