Instagram Roundup #49

by Jamie Sanford on July 17, 2013

Here are all of the other Instagram Roundups!

Catching up with a few weeks of Instagrams, since we got back from the South Dakota roadtrip.

Curls are my summer hair jam.

I was back in the showroom right after getting back from SD.

I had dinner with Jess, one of my high school BFFs, that same week. We hadn’t seen each other in years, but naturally, it felt like we had seen each other 10 minutes ago.

More trials with matte nail polish, and I put a bunch of dots on the ring finger. Too bad my Seche Vite betrayed me with all of those little air bubbles.

This dude did pushups in line at Whole Foods. SMH.

I really hope this isn’t always the case.

I drive past Satin Dolls on my way home from work. It is also known as The Bada Bing, since this is where they filmed that location for The Sopranos. Fitting that they paid tribute to James Gandolfini.

Sassy mannequin at the Calvin Klein outlet.

One day, I want the number of my home to look like this on the door.

People keep interesting things in storage units. The scenes in the drive-in area are always something to behold.

How beautiful is that glove?

Tried this out, it’s waaay too strong for me.

I couldn’t resist some new A England polishes.

My absolute obsession with Elementary continues, but since it’s 2 more months until the season starts, I went back to the well and started reading the source material.

Getting ready for a big round of photography at the office. I am building a fort of dinnerware.

Sharknado was everything I wanted it to be.

I did a big review of magazines I was hoarding for one reason or another. I pulled out certain pages to be scanned for later reference, but I also take pictures. I loved this rainbow Ferragamo.

We were out the other night, and were driving to go find dinner, and I saw a sign for this high school production of The Crucible on the road. I immediately convinced Will that we needed to go, and so we did. Having participated in a spring 1997 production of The Crucible myself, it was really that much more fun.

Here are all of the other Instagram Roundups!

I had to take my nail polish off before my mini surgery. I started using this stuff and I think it’s working a bit! You can’ t wear nail polish with it so this has been my longest polish-free span in ages.

GREAT fortune.

Snacks in the office. Will ended up eating mine.

A mixture of boredom and a recent episode of Elementary had me randomly studying this $20 bill. These new dollars (are they new anymore?) are pretty complex. Here’s an article about printing them.

John Polly and Queen Latifah greeting me in my Twitter app. LOVE.

I blogged about going to 2 estate sales recently, and I had received a business card from a gem dealer I met. I hadn’t noticed what his card said until recently, and come on, that is amazing. I definitely need to get new business cards going.

Here are all of the other Instagram Roundups!

Everything is better when Girl Scout cookies arrive.

Back to 41 Madison, which definitely means a walk-by Flatiron building photo.

David bought this for me 2 Christmases ago, in an Origins gift pack. I am almost out of this serum and think I need more. It makes my skin super soft.

Fortune.

In the storage unit, as always. I’m smiling at the camera, Will is doing the work.

Oy. I took a contact lens out at the office to clean it and put it back in. Naturally, I tore it in half and had no backups. Since I am -5.5 in both eyes, having one with a lens and one without a lens doesn’t work, so I made myself an eye patch to tide me over until I could go home and get new lenses. Hot mess.

I assume everyone has figured out that I Instagram all of my fortunes now?

Excuse my dry skin, but I had to take a picture of A England Dragon in the sun where it was most spectacular. Love it.

Here are all of the other Instagram Roundups!

I actually had to go into the bank for something. They still have lollipops there! I was really excited.

Will and I are not into Valentine’s Day, but I did find this cute ziploc bag of Reese’s peanut butter cups in my bag when I got to work.

This is a blurry picture that I took of my camera screen of me and Cindy. We were at our friend Wadee’ah’s birthday party, at which I had a blast.

I Skyped in for a family birthday party on Sunday.

Fortune.

I found this Batman mask at Target and naturally had to try it on. I would definitely rock this on the regular if it had fit my head. It was too tight but the look is fabulous. (I just totally found an adult one. Maybe I will be Batgirl for Halloween?)

I got 2 things from the MAC Archie’s Girls collection. This lipstick called Boyfriend Stealer and a Pearlglide Intense Eyeliner in Designer Purple. I am sad I didn’t pick up more since it is almost all sold out.

Here are all of the other Instagram Roundups!

I bought this ridiculously warm hoodie with a scarf attached from ideeli a while back. It really does the trick.

I followed behind my husband in the rental car while they took my injured car to the shop. I realized on the way that bumper replacement meant that these stickers would be out of my life. My car belonged to my grandmother before she sold it to me and there was NO way I was taking her stickers off of the back. I was really sad about it, and posted a photo to Instagram (which means Facebook too). My Uncle John called my grandmother to tell her that he saw my picture and would buy me a new GB sticker for the car. I love it.

I caught the BAFTAs red carpet and saw Queen Badass Helen Mirren with pink hair! I am seriously obsessed with her. She is insanely hot and now she has pink hair which is just really cool.

I totally slipped and fell in our complex’s parking lot after the big snowstorm and resulting ice. Luckily I was only bleeding from this one spot.

This is a little view of my new desk at home. I was floating around for a while between the bedroom and the couch with my laptop and it really sucked. Now I have this little desk and it is even better when I can set up my podcast stuff without it being super precarious. Adding the pop screen made a huge difference.

I certainly hope so. It’s been a little crazy these past few weeks.

The best end to the Instagram week was getting a box of hand-decorated macarons from Creme Delicious. They are gorgeous and crazy delicious!
