Instagram Roundup #119

by Jamie Sanford on February 4, 2015

Here are all of the other Instagram Roundups!

I’m going to try out making Instagram Roundups monthly in 2015. Let’s go!

The selfie stick was worth it if only for this shot from NYE.

Art and architecture from Madison Square Park.

Throwback drag show photos of Kiki Kinx. I love the drama.

We returned to estate sailing with possibly the best house we have been to. I think that collectively, we purchased the most things we ever had at one of these. Such an amazing home.

Dolls are wonderful subjects for portraits—I generally like the snarky-looking ones—but this one was just waiting for me in a room in an estate sale house. More fabulous drama.

After an exhausting day of estate sailing, I decided to make tomato sauce. It turned out pretty well! This is the recipe.

The best part about all of this snow is the opportunity for making photos like this one. I love it.

Instagram Roundup #40

by Jamie Sanford on May 15, 2013

Here are all of the other Instagram Roundups!

I restarted a book I’d previously read, The Joy of Less, A Minimalist Living Guide: How to Declutter, Organize, and Simplify Your Life, by Francine Jay. This book helped me to clear out a lot of stuff I didn’t need about a year ago, and it’s time to try that again.

It was a rainy day, and luckily I managed to catch the periods between the rain to get to my car.

Throwback Thursday was this AMAZING shot of David and I at dinner before prom, in May 1998. Which was 15 years ago. We are at Bern’s Steakhouse in Tampa, which is incredible and you should go there immediately.

Mom sent me a box, with frog stickers on the back!

I have been totally sucked into playing Dragopolis on the iPhone. This is my character.

More from the book.

Another. This is the goal.

I Snoopified myself.

I asked Mom to bring me a new GB sticker to replace the one that I lost with my broken bumper cover. This one is triumphant!

Quick product review: I tried out a sample of this L’Oreal Revitalift Triple Power Deep-Acting Moisturizer. It is definitely very moisturizing, and my skin didn’t feel greasy after using it. But the scent is incredibly perfumed and overpowering. It’s just too much, so I won’t be purchasing it. If L’Oreal can make an unscented version, I’m in.

Have a good week!

Fashion says “me too,” style says “only me.” Lynn Dell gets interviewed by Leandra Medine, better known as The Man Repeller.

I have spoiled myself like crazy on the How to destroy angels_ tour, but I don’t care! Here you can listen to the band talk about the development of the music and the tour.

I don’t remember if I shared this one, but it’s a 27-minute video on the making of the iconic Nine Inch Nails “Closer” video.

The evolution of the Formula One car. This is insane!

Photo of the week, a non-Instagram image of the Flatiron Building from last week. I was trying to replicate an angle from someone else but it isn’t quite right. Still, how can you not love that view. I’m completely obsessed.

Instagram Roundup #32

by Jamie Sanford on March 20, 2013

Here are all of the other Instagram Roundups!

Been browsing books about design and such while waiting at the printer at the office. Naturally I photographed the J.

I received this ring from my Nana at Christmastime. It came from a friend of hers’ mother, and she knew it was right up my alley. I haven’t figured out what the stone is yet.

Coming soon to the blog will be a giant image of all of my walk-by Flatiron Building photos. I must have at least 25? This is from last week.

I hadn’t been to an estate sale in YEARS (at least 10) before last week. Naturally I took sneaky photos, and here is one of them.

60s kitchen decor.

I photographed lots of old packaging with my phone.

Went to St. Patrick’s Day Thanksgiving on Saturday night. Lots of drinking, eating, and merriment.

I am really looking forward to the How To Destroy Angels show next month.

Fortune, as always.
