Jewelry from Electric Lemonade Shop

by Jamie Sanford on July 29, 2013

I love some statement jewelry, particularly necklaces. I tend to lean towards things with antlers, but I am interested in anything that strikes my fancy. Electric Lemonade Shop has a super fun selection of jewelry – here are a few of my favorites.

Sideshow Deer Necklace, $128.

Glam Rock earrings, which I’m sure don’t say Bowie because his image was not used intentionally…$32.

How creepy/awesome is this? Dental Record necklace, $140.

Another identity crisis here, because a certain Grace Jones comes to mind…Glamazon Earrings, $32.

This is cute AND functional, since it actually works as a little knife! Danger Dagger Knife Necklace, $34.

Recycled Record Earrings

by Jamie Sanford on August 20, 2010

Last day of this week’s theme. What should be the theme for next week? It really helps me to write posts when I have some guidelines and can’t just pick anything available anywhere on the Internet.

These are very cute and 80s retro.

Turn the volume up on your wardrobe with sassy, funky and fun earrings made from recycled records. Whether you grew up on 45s or mix tapes, hanging out at concerts or jamming in your bedroom, music lovers everywhere will agree that these unique earrings hit all the right notes.

These are cute for a night out. I think I might need those cassette tapes.

A single pair of these are available for a little over 50% off, $11.99 from Uncommon Goods.

Fabulous Jewelry Storage from Urban Outfitters

by Jamie Sanford on July 22, 2010

I found out recently that my favorite local mall has a new Urban Outfitters store. I can get lost in there.

I wish I remember who else posted this because I didn’t see it on the Urban Outfitters site, but I can’t remember! All I know is that it made it to my list of “links to address later.” Does everyone have lists like this or is it just me? I use Tasks in Gmail to hang on to most of these types of things.  They’re easiest to access that way.

Anyway, enough rambling, and onto the cuteness!

I love this – it’s timely because I just came across a box of my jewelry from the 90s, and I pulled out a few pieces that I would actually like to wear again.  Some of those are earrings. I don’t wear earrings that much, but part of it is probably because I never see the earrings that are in a drawer somewhere.  Storage like this reminds you of what you have, which is key to wearing it.

I have rambled my way through this entry.

The cute birdcage jewelry stand is available in multiple colors for $32 from Urban Outfitters.

Oprah’s Big Deal issue of her magazine hit the stands for August 2010 and she is wearing the Coliseum earrings from Lia Sophia.

You can’t get a good look at the Lia Sophia earrings, which Oprah liked so much that she purchased them.

From the Lia Sophia website:

Rockstar flamboyance in over-sized hoops. A contemporary cutout honeycomb design of matte gold makes an eye-popping statement guaranteed to take your charisma off the charts. Snap bar closure.

The earrings that Oprah is wearing on the cover of the magazine are $44 from Lia Sophia, but will be retired at the end of July. Based on the limited time frame plus the Oprah connection, I think they might sell out.

My “Sugarpill Princess” Collection!

by Jamie Sanford on May 11, 2010

There’s a contest on Gala Darling’s site, where if you create a look around Sugarpill Cosmetics on Polyvore, you can be entered to win some free cosmetics.
I think I’m going to start using Polyvore as well as ShopStyle to create posts for this site.  It’s great fun to create a look, and both sites makes it so easy to share my ideas and link to all of the items contained within each look.
I would love to have some audience participation here – if you create a look on one of these sites, I would love to feature it on The Daily Wishlist.  Email me if you have one you’d like to have featured!
