Instagram Roundup #25

by Jamie Sanford on January 30, 2013

Here are all of the other Instagram Roundups! I am contemplating content other than this weekly Instagram post. Coming soon! I’m going to an accessory swap soon so I’ve been trying to wear all of the necklaces to see which ones I might part with. It will not be this one with antlers. I cannot resist jewelry with antlers. My current bedside lip balm is this Chapstick Botanical Medley. It smells delicious. We got a juicer. This was the second juice that came out, it was quite fruity and delicious. I need to start drinking the more unfortunate green juices with more kale and whatnot. This whole nail situation was not intended. It is OPI Ink, with Milani Hi-Res sponged on top, and then some OPI Servin’ Up Sparkle on top of that. I meant to only sponge the tips but it looked odd so I just went over the whole thing. I was going through an old InStyle and became more obsessed with this printed skirt from McQ. I wasn’t a very good bride even when I was in the midst of planning a wedding. However, I was really pissed that this Vera Wang for David’s Bridal dress wasn’t around when I got married. It’s beautiful. We had amazing heavy fog this morning, so I stopped in the little riverside park to take some photos on my way to the office. I wish I had taken my real camera with me, but I’m glad I stopped only to take phone pictures.

Las Vegas Vow Renewal: What I am definitely wearing.

by Jamie Sanford on November 7, 2011

The time is approaching – we leave for Las Vegas in just a few days!  I’m so excited that I’m making fun graphics for myself.

So, as discussed previously, I had a plan for what I was wearing.  I purchased a dress from a website called Starlets and Harlots (who don’t get a link because they suck), and weeks later I had heard nothing and received nothing.  I finally complained to PayPal, and managed to get a refund, but obviously, I was still pissed because they had the dress that I wanted.

So I started finding backup dresses in a hurry.  I have bought and returned multiple dresses in the past few weeks, and over the weekend, finally confirmed what I will be wearing.

This is the Monif C Marilyn Ruched Convertible Dress.  It’s currently on sale but that ends soon, so I’ll list the price as $215.

I don’t look like this model, but once my friend Tiffany had tied me into the dress over the weekend, I knew it was the winner.  I feel super fabulous in this dress, and that’s all I needed.

I need to get some fishnets (maybe these Spanx ones), but I am totally wearing my previously purchased Poetic Licence shoes!

These appear to be no longer available.  They are perfect for Vegas though, with the attributes of both dice and playing cards. They are perfect.

I also think it might be cold, so I will be bringing along a cardigan and my favorite black velvet blazer in case it is a bit chilly.

Coming soon, a post where I talk about my makeup options and revisit the hair question too.  Las Vegas, here we come!

Lingerie Hanger for Brides and Bridal Showers

by Jamie Sanford on November 5, 2010

Today’s item is a great gift for a bride-to-be.  A lingerie hanger with a name sculpted into the metal.  (I’ve seen these used for more than just lingerie though – I think in the short-term it can be used to hang a wedding dress for photos.)

There is a waiting list for this item, after ordering, it takes between 8 and 10 weeks to receive your hanger.

The personalized hanger from Etsy seller lilafrances is available for $25.

James Anthony Printed T-Shirt Dress

by Jamie Sanford on January 25, 2010

Today’s wishlist item is an amazing t-shirt dress from the James Anthony store on Etsy.  This particular dress is available as a medium but there are many other items in the store that are equally fabulous.  This dress sells for $60, and there is currently 1 in stock.

This print is obviously not for everyone, but it is my intention at TDW to present all sorts of options for your gift-giving needs.
