I haven’t watched The Breakfast Club in a while.

Related – this Breakfast Club print on Etsy is darling.

I have to try making this Asparagus Tart. It looks pretty simple!

This is old, but still an interesting interview with Courtney Love about addiction. She has a book coming out and I will definitely be reading it.

Rose McGowan’s wedding was gorgeous, which does not surprise me at all. I love her.

She Has Had It is hilarious and brilliant. Should be required reading for hags.

Mother-daughter artwork collaboration, gorgeous and whimsical.

RuPaul’s birthday generated this AMAZING gif wall on NewNowNext.

See you next month!

Nirvana: Teen Spirit Interviews (100 Films in 2011)

by Jamie Sanford on December 12, 2011

91. Nirvana: Teen Spirit Interviews (available to stream on Netflix)

I cannot find a trailer for this “movie.” I’m not sure it was ever meant to be something beyond a random DVD release.  Not surprisingly, I don’t have much to say about it.  I very much enjoyed Nirvana when they were active and releasing albums, and was devastated at Kurt‘s untimely end.  I was expecting more from this collection of interview footage, but about half of it is MTV interviews that I had seen before.

I have watched a number of documentaries about Kurt’s death, his relationship with Courtney Love, and how she might have been tied to his death, and obviously was still interested in more content related to the band. Unfortunately, this felt like a re-run for the most part.  I think only the most die-hard Nirvana fan, looking for a few more seconds of footage they haven’t seen, would really appreciate this.

That being said, Nirvana: Teen Spirit Interviews is available on DVD from Amazon for $9.95.
