Music was becoming a much bigger force in my life when Stone Temple Pilots came on the scene. Their debut album Core remains as one of the albums I can listen to from start to finish – the CD case from the album won’t stay closed because I wore the catch down from opening and closing it so many times. Scott Weiland‘s vocals are burned into me, and to hear of his untimely death is heartbreaking.
