Bullet Jewelry

by Jamie Sanford on August 26, 2013

In a continued streak of non-traditional jewelry on the blog, today I’m locating lots of jewelry made of or with bullets. Lots of variety here, and all items are from Etsy!

First up is a bullet pendant with amethyst – you can also find these with clear quartz, citrine, and other stones all over Etsy. This one is $25 from Azeetadesigns.

This is called the hunter’s keychain – bullets and antlers. $18 from Chimiera.

I love this because it feels high-end and fabulous while still incorporating the bullet. You can even choose different colored stones for the outer rim. $19.95 from Bullet Designs.

If you’re looking for a bullet on a chain, here you go. $16 from Dorian Creations.

Taking bullets to a very feminine place is this lovely necklace with a blue Swarovski crystal. $27.50 from lauralynns.

For the cowgirl in your life. $38 from TrashandTrinkets.

It’s a tennis bracelet, made of bullets! The crystal color is up to you, with about 15 options. $59.95 from BulletDesigns.

Nicholas Liu Waterfall Bracelet

by Jamie Sanford on January 25, 2011

Since I’m late in celebrating the one-year anniversary of The Daily Wishlist, I figured I would have some fabulous things on the site this week.

The first being this fabulous bracelet from one of my new favorite websites for shopping L-Atitude.com.

Product description:

Curate an artful jewelry collection with unexpected statement pieces like this take-notice Waterfall Bracelet from Nicholas Liu. With two rows of crystal-embellished sparkle, this statement piece will take center stage at your next soiree. Waterfall Bracelet shown here in Pave Set Crystal. Features a hook closure. Measures 6 1/2″.

This is like nothing I’ve seen before, it’s really intricate and gorgeous, which I think explains the high price.  The Nicholas Liu waterfall bracelet is available from Latitude for $2,435.

Owl Cuff Bracelet

by Jamie Sanford on September 21, 2010

I’m officially on vacation, I hope Owl Week entertains someone else other than just me!

Today, a gorgeous leather cuff with an owl from Etsy seller mdonnelly22, who has other great items including another owl cuff.

I love this – I’m all about the accessories with some personality and quirk, I know that I’m guilty of wearing way too much black, but bringing it with the accessories makes me feel better about it so I try.

This owl cuff is available for $25.

Mermaid Cuff Bracelet

by Jamie Sanford on August 19, 2010

Day 4 of sale items from Uncommon Goods.

Another one of the things I respond to is mermaids. So, when I saw this – it was going to be on the site.

This is not for everyone, mermaid bracelets just don’t work all of the time.

Here’s the description:

Hand cast from molds of vintage swizzle sticks, these cuffs by artist Nina Dinoff are dreamy, graceful and serene, just like the elusive mermaid. Available in sterling silver-plated and 18 karat gold-plated brass. Handmade in Brooklyn.

Swizzle sticks were invented in the ’30s, but were quite popular from the ’40s through the ’70s as a means of advertising for hotels, restaurants and airlines.

These bracelets have been discontinued, and are currently on sale for 50% off.  You can pick up both the silver and the gold for $34.99 on Uncommon Goods.

Fabulous Jewelry Storage from Urban Outfitters

by Jamie Sanford on July 22, 2010

I found out recently that my favorite local mall has a new Urban Outfitters store. I can get lost in there.

I wish I remember who else posted this because I didn’t see it on the Urban Outfitters site, but I can’t remember! All I know is that it made it to my list of “links to address later.” Does everyone have lists like this or is it just me? I use Tasks in Gmail to hang on to most of these types of things.  They’re easiest to access that way.

Anyway, enough rambling, and onto the cuteness!

I love this – it’s timely because I just came across a box of my jewelry from the 90s, and I pulled out a few pieces that I would actually like to wear again.  Some of those are earrings. I don’t wear earrings that much, but part of it is probably because I never see the earrings that are in a drawer somewhere.  Storage like this reminds you of what you have, which is key to wearing it.

I have rambled my way through this entry.

The cute birdcage jewelry stand is available in multiple colors for $32 from Urban Outfitters.
