Fabulous Jewelry Storage from Urban Outfitters

by Jamie Sanford on July 22, 2010

I found out recently that my favorite local mall has a new Urban Outfitters store. I can get lost in there.

I wish I remember who else posted this because I didn’t see it on the Urban Outfitters site, but I can’t remember! All I know is that it made it to my list of “links to address later.” Does everyone have lists like this or is it just me? I use Tasks in Gmail to hang on to most of these types of things.  They’re easiest to access that way.

Anyway, enough rambling, and onto the cuteness!

I love this – it’s timely because I just came across a box of my jewelry from the 90s, and I pulled out a few pieces that I would actually like to wear again.  Some of those are earrings. I don’t wear earrings that much, but part of it is probably because I never see the earrings that are in a drawer somewhere.  Storage like this reminds you of what you have, which is key to wearing it.

I have rambled my way through this entry.

The cute birdcage jewelry stand is available in multiple colors for $32 from Urban Outfitters.

The pillow is about 10 inches wide, and is available for $40.

Owl Cookies!

by Jamie Sanford on June 20, 2010

If everyone hasn’t realized it already, I like owls.  I think they are the cutest birds, and we are very bird-friendly in my house.

Anyway, today’s wishlist item is a set of 1 dozen adorable owl cookies!

The cookies can be custom-made in whatever color you might like, and they are individually wrapped to make the perfect party favor.

But mostly, the cuteness got me.

The dozen owl cookies are available from Etsy seller TSCookies for $24.

Gifts That Give Back: Paper Mache Peacock

by Jamie Sanford on May 29, 2010

Today, an item made in Haiti.  Portions of the proceeds from this purchase go back there to help with recovery from the devastating earthquake that took place there.

Plus, we know that I have a soft spot for bird items.

This beautiful blue peacock, which I’m thinking most people would be more likely to buy for themselves than for someone else, is 30 inches long (not a subtle piece), is available in 5 different colors, and is $215 from Green with Glamour.

Cuckoo Clock with a twist

by Jamie Sanford on March 26, 2010

Today’s item is a cool twist on the traditional cuckoo clock.

This one is much sexier and more modern.

The clock even has a night sensor for no cuckoo-ing during sleeptime.

This clock is available for $385 from ATYS Design.
